This tiny, narrow region sits south of Abruzzo. It is a heavily forested area and is a perfect place for those who love castles, some of which are in excellent condition. There are, of course, medieval hamlets and ancient ruins to explore as well. And, as with all of Italy’s other regions, with the exception of Umbria, there is the seaside along the Adriatic.

"In short, Stacey and I had a fantastic time. We loved our first Italian get-away, and can't wait to go back! My parents are gearing up for their first trip to Italy in the Fall, and I'm definitely recommending your service to them! Thanks again, and Arrivederci!" - Stacey and Marco Fargnoli, May 2002
