Calabria has some of the least spoiled beaches in Italy and is surrounded by beautiful, clear waters. In addition to the wonders of the sea, La Sila offers some of Europe’s greatest woodlands and more of an Alpine feeling than the term “southern” would imply and if you are interested in visiting religious sites, take a drive along the “stairway to heaven” in northern Calabria.
