Campania

The Amalfi Coast is less frequently visited by Americans, who often only visit Rome, Florence & Venice. While these 3 cities are magical, the Amalfi Coast is not to be missed! It is a spectacular part of Italy (and of Europe!) with small villages clinging to the cliffs virtually spilling into the sea. Along the coastline are small fishing boats hidden in coves and spread out over the water. Driving the road along the coast is not for the faint of heart. The road has many twists and turns along steep drops to the sea offering beautiful views. There are many romantic villages to stop in along the way, including one that is world-renowned for its ceramics. As with other regions of Italy, it is hard to go wrong here!

"I will never forget my guide's name, Ms. Macaroni. Many thanks again to you. I understand that you are planning a trip to Northern Italy for my extended family to celebrate my brother-in-laws' 40th birthday. I'm eagerly looking forward to another wonderful trip to Italy designed by you." - Terry B., June 2006
