Liguria

While this may be one of Italy’s smallest regions, it is home to some of the countries most popular spots. Even if you have never been to Italy, you have likely seen the beautiful port of Portofino in a movie. Along this mostly coastal region are quaint, pebble strewn beaches, the busy seaport of Genova (birthplace of Christopher Columbus), as well as the well-known Cinque Terre (Five Lands) fishing villages. And if you are a fan of pesto, this is definitely the part of Italy to visit.

"After spending countless hours over an 8-month period researching & planning a family vacation to the UK in Dec. 2000, I was very concerned about trying to do the same for travel to Italy The reasonable fee that Megan charged for her services was well worth the peace of mind, efficiency & attention to detail that she provided. I'm not a fan of travel agents as a rule, but I'll never travel to Italy without Megan's assistance." - Doug Easterling, April 2002
