Liguria

While this may be one of Italy’s smallest regions, it is home to some of the countries most popular spots. Even if you have never been to Italy, you have likely seen the beautiful port of Portofino in a movie. Along this mostly coastal region are quaint, pebble strewn beaches, the busy seaport of Genova (birthplace of Christopher Columbus), as well as the well-known Cinque Terre (Five Lands) fishing villages. And if you are a fan of pesto, this is definitely the part of Italy to visit.

"We yearn for Italy every day we are not there, and plot ways to save our pennies to return for another glorious experience. Megan Sipes understands us and our desires as much as she understands the soul of Italy that's what makes for unique, hand-made visits that we treasure more than words can convey." - Michele U.
